Your author study involves reading five books by a single author during this school year. You may choose any author who is appropriate to your level. If you have any questions about whether or not an author is appropriate be sure to speak to Ms. D.
As you consider your author, look back at your reading record. Look for authors you have enjoyed. Look to see if you've read more than one book by an author. Once you have decided on one or two possibilities, check on Destiny to be sure the author has enough books available for you to read. It is very important that you choose an author who has written enough books and you have access to the books.
Once you have chosen your author copy and paste the form below into a google.doc.
Name the document : Author Study Selection Form.
Complete the form and share it with Ms. D. (You must have five titles listed.)
Put an X in the "I have read" column if you read the book this school year.
Put an X in the "I plan to read" column if you have not yet read the book. Saying you plan to read a book does not mean you must read that book. In the future you can choose other books if they are available.
This form is due Friday January 30.
Plan to have at least three books by your author read and verified by the end of the third quarter, April 1.
