You and your partner will work together on this project. You will work together to decide on a poem to use. You will also work together to make decisions about the movie. You will create the movie on one laptop using Movie Maker or WeVideo.
Ideas to consider when choosing a poem. When you choose a poem to create a presentation, you will want to consider length and message. If a poem is too short, the presentation will be too. If a poem is too long, you will have a hard time holding your audience’s attention. Generally, a poem that is a page or so long, will be a good length. You need to have an understanding of the poem’s message, so you can show it through the pictures and music of your presentation.
Here are the steps to use when you make your movie.
Step 1: Choose a poem.
Step 2: Complete a plan sheet and wait for Ms. D's approval.
Step 3: Make your slides (visuals). You are required to have:
Title of the poem and name of poet
Pictures that show the idea/message of the poem
Credits: your names and the sources of pictures and music (more than google)
Step 4: Add transitions to make the show more interesting.
Step 5: Record the voiceover (audio).
Step 6: Adjust the timing of the visuals to match the voiceover.
Step 7: Add quiet instrumental music. Make sure the music doesn't overpower the voiceover.
When you are satisfied with your movie, upload it to google. Share the movie with your partner and Ms. D.
Hand it in.
