My name is Irvin, and I am a writer, frequently writing online under the monikers "Irvin K" and "hpboy13."

I first realized I was a writer back in 2005, when I dove into fanfiction by writing my own version of the seventh Harry Potter book, and realized how much I love writing.  I spent my teen years writing fanfiction, my college years writing filks (song parodies), and then accidentally fell into theatre journalism in my mid-twenties when I wrote about Puffs.  Through it all, I wrote essays about Harry Potter - at first for various fansites, for twelve years as the longest-tenured columnist at MuggleNet.com, and recently over at The Harry Potter Lexicon.
