Ron or Hermione? Harry's Truest Friend (2008 essay). The can of worms that this opened was unbelievable. Rebuttals were written. Debates went on in the MuggleNet forums for dozens of pages, and still occasionally come up again.
The Trio's Hallow Choices (2009 essay). I then decided to write a less partisan piece about the members of the Trio, and what their choice of Hallow can tell us about them. The piece was published later, in 2011, as the first new entry in the Three Broomsticks.
Ron's Jealousy (2010 essay). Upon receiving a college assignment about pieces I had no interest in writing about, I instead chose to revisit Ron, and try to understand why he is the way he is. My professor didn't appreciate it, but when it was published in 2011 in my column, Mugglenet readers sure did - hundreds of people commenting, debating Ron's merits.
Hermione's Horrible Holidays (2018) talks about how Hermione always gets a really raw deal during the holidays.
