Once in every book
There comes a scene like this:
Dumbledore says, “Look
At all the clues you missed.”
Oh where is the scene that goes like this?
Where is it? Where? Where?
A sentimental chat
About a complex spell,
Now Harry’s saved the day
And gets praised like hell,
For we miss the scene that goes like this.
We want this! We want this!
Afterwards we go straight
To speculating on Book Eight,
Once we understand Book Seven…
Voldy’s in Harry’s face,
Who meets death with grace,
And then ascends to heaven…
Now we're in Harry’s head!
Wondering if he’s really dead.
It’s been long since we read
Anything Dumbledore said.
For this is the scene that we have missed!
Albus is very proud,
I’m crying far too loud.
That's the way that this scene goes,
Forces me to blow my nose.
Reading the scene that goes like this!
I can't believe there's more
To be heard from Dumbledore!
That's the beauty of these scenes:
Finding out what it all means.
Now to the climax the book careens!
When Voldy was reborn,
Treating sacrifice with scorn,
He made a grave mistake,
A bond he cannot break.
We learn in a scene like this!
