The Executive Producer

One player must be the Executive Producer, who makes up the adventure scenario, decides which rules apply to which situation, and plays all the characters who are not Regular Cast (player characters). Essentially: the adult in charge.

This person does not have to be an actual adult – just willing to accept the responsibility.

Many systems call this job the Game Master or Judge. Same thing.

We abbreviate this as the XP. Don’t confuse this with similar abbreviations from more popular RPGs.

You do not need to have the same player be the XP in every episode.

The XP has to read and understand the rules, and have a good working knowledge of the setting. Also, they should have the time to make up the episodes - a considerable undertaking. (In compensation, the XP should never have to pay for the pizza.)(This is Secret Rule #7).
