Each game session is an “Episode”.
The primary plot (meeting the challenge) should start and resolve within a single episode.
In the next episode, the characters will find themselves in another place and another time with an entirely different challenge.
Not every character is required to appear in every episode.
While it is possible to have long story-arcs across several episodes, these should be in the background.
One player will serve as the Executive Producer, [XP hereafter] who serves as the storyteller, judge or game master.
The rest of the players play the Regular Cast Members of the show [RCMs hereafter] – the heroes.
The travel is made possible by possession of an Game Artifact. The artifact can take any form of the player’s choosing. The character must be in possession of this artifact to travel.
There is a mascot, which appears in every episode. It typically manifests as some talking animal or toy. The mascot is intended to be cute and amusing. It is, in reality, annoying and useless. The mascot may be controlled by the Executive Producer, or the youngest player present.
After 18 – 26 Episodes, depending on factors you decide, you have completed a Season – and it is time to play another game for a while.
