Milan evenings in Kiev

On September, 9-10-11th in Kiev following actions of the international charitable cultural project «Beauty demands Protection» - a number of the actions which purpose is fight against terrorism strengthening in the world, especially in view of carrying out of important international events – EURO 2012 in Kiev and the EXPO 2015 in Milan will be spent. On a level with the purpose of the further cooperation and solidarity in strengthening of a cultural contact between Ukraine and Italy. In connection with carrying out of the EXPO 2015 in Milan the project on September, 9-10-11th in Kiev is named «Milan evenings in Kiev». 

All means collected as a result of carrying out of this action, will be directed on fight against terrorism strengthening in the world. 

PROGRAMME 

On September 9 st, 2011 at 19.00 - «Milan Evenings in Kiev» opening will take place on September, 9th 2011 in Gallery of Arts Support Fund ( Frolovskaya str., 1/6 ). Exhibition of paintings on wood of the artist and ballerina Silvia Rastelli (Italy).The exhibition will last from September, 9st till September - 21st, 2011. 

On September 10st, 2011 at 19.00 - at the Kiev municipal academic opera and ballet theater for children and youth (Mezigirskaya str., 2) - Ukrainian-Italian concert «Milan evenings» with participation of the soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine deserved the actress of Ukraine Angelina Shvachka (Ukraine) and Maurizio Sesenna (Italy), a successful performing artist and chansonnier. The concert program will consist of masterpieces of world vocal music, and also the Italian and Ukrainian classical and author''s songs and romances. Special atmosphere of a concert will be created by live support of two grand pianos – red and black – on which Patrizia Bernelich (Italy) and Igor Mamushev (Ukraine) will play. The concert becomes key cultural event of the project. For the evening representatives of the press, the Ukrainian and foreign business elite, art workers and arts will be invited. At 20-30 in gallery «Aster Dome» (on the second floor of theater) will take place opening joint Ukrainian -Italian exhibition “On the Music wave”. The sculptor Giorgio Rastelli (Italy) and the artist Yury Pisar (Ukraine). In the opening program - display of a new collection of fashions «Collection 26” Ksenia Popova Kiev designer accompanied by Ensemble Nostri Temporis and choreographic improvisation of two ballerinas – Silvia Rastelli (Italy) and Katerina Didenko (Ukraine) that becomes the present ornament of the party. After opening the formal reception for partners and participants of the project will take place. For the evening representatives of the organizations, the Ukrainian and foreign business elite, art workers and arts will be invited. The project is supported numerous state and public organizations, representatives of mass media. 

On September 11st, 2011 at 18.00 – 10 years since the attacks of 11 September 2001 on USA - project closing, wiil be literary evening «Beauty demands Protection» (Fund Conference hall, Rybalska str., 13). Performed by the deserved actress of Ukraine Tamara Plashenko (Ukraine) and journalist and writer Arnaldo Alberti (Italy).

The idea and project «Beauty demands Protection» itself belongs to the known the Kiev opera stage director and the producer Tatiana Zozulia who is the official representative of “Association Luigi Illica” (А.L.I.) in Ukraine, the judge of the First international competition of opera singers «Luigi Illica Opera Stage» (Italy), and also the art director of cultural projects by International Charity Organization Charitable Foundation «International Rescue Services» 

The general producer of "Milan evenings in Kiev" - Michele Dufour (Italy), Vice-President of Association Luigi Illica (A.L.I.), a dynamic public figure of the world of art, design, fashion and tourism, owner of the exclusive Art-hotel Casa Illica where the well-known opera librettist of Puccini, Luigi Illica, lived and worked in the last century. 

The partners of the project are the Associazione Luigi Illi c a (Italy), the Kiev municipal academic opera and ballet theater for children and youth and Arts Support Fund (Kiev, Ukraine)
