Orange Vanilla Cake
1 1/2 cups+1 heaping tsp all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
zest from 2 oranges
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup 2% Greek yogurt
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp orange extract
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Line and/or grease a loaf pan.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Rub orange zest into sugar with your fingers.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Whisk in zested sugar, yogurt, oil, and extracts. Gradually whisk in dry ingredients until well blended.
Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for a few minutes, then whisk together the juice and powdered sugar and pour over the top.
Let cool until glaze is completely absorbed into the cake. Dust with powdered sugar and serve!
