Configure Komodo-Edit for Python SDK

Add the Google libraries to the code completion path:

• Edit -> Preferences… (On Mac it's Komodo -> Preferences)

• Languages -> Python

• Add /path/to/google_appengine

Create commands to start the dev server and upload your app to appspot:

• View -> Tabs & Sidebars

• Ensure that Toolbox is checked.

• Toolbox -> Add -> New Command...

• Name the command App Engine - Start dev server

• In the Command box enter /path/to/google_appengine/dev_appserver.py "%p"

• Under Run in, select New Console

• Toolbox -> Add -> New Command...

• Name the command App Engine - Upload to appspot

• In the Command box enter /path/to/google_appengine/appcfg.py update .

• In the Start in box enter %p

• Under Run in, select New Console

Add URL's to the Toolbox:

• Toolbox -> Add -> New URL...

• Name the URL App Engine - Dev Server

• In the Value box enter http://localhost:8080

• Toolbox -> Add -> New URL...

• Name the URL App Engine - Dev Server Admin

• In the Value box enter http://localhost:8080/_ah/admin

• Toolbox -> Add -> New URL...

• Name the URL App Engine - Documentation (Python)

• In the Value box enter http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/python/
