Explanation radicalization theory
The theory Consists, in short, that 2% of a group regardless which religion, subject, group etc. is radical, and will commit radical action , or is capable of shaping radical ideas, without any remorse relative innocents. The 5% ( read; up to 5% ) are "followers", but it can be persuaded to committing acts or radicalisme. Obviously, the 2% group plays the most important factor. The theory was developed by one Israelis and one palestine professor after 25 years of study they have done on the Gaza conflic.t While studying and living in it, they came up with this 2-5% formula. They have their university department which this theoretical formulation applied to other conflicts in the world, and came to the discovery this formula is correct. With a margin of 0,5 to 1.5%
I saw the professors in 1993 but never could find their names again. In 20 years i projected this theory in / on different situations. Like news / media, politics, war conflicts, and also what happened after 9-11. In my town is 10% turkish, we talk about 12.000 and if you used your eyes you could have seen a change in the streets, they were living in stealth mode.. This lasted for 2/3 years, now it is as it was. ( no, not complaining ) We europeans hardly can imagine it, how it feels when, by example, one dutch fool does a humanistic crime, and we are all ashamed for his deeds. However, we do have another 2 % + 5 %, about 1.000.000, stupid dutch we are not ashamed for. Let's us smoke the peace pipe... :)
This example is not bout the data, although it is correct, it is to show how the radicalization theory in real live theory works.
1
Applied to 16 million inhabitants.
The Netherlands example.
residents 100 % 16.000.000
followers 5 % 800.000
hard core 2 % 320.000
Officers + 0.35 % 55.000
Officers - 0.24 % 35.000
2
Applied to 15,000 inhabitants;
example Poelenburg ( area in zaandam ) example;
inhabitants 100 % 15.000
followers 5 % 750
hard core 2 % 300
Officers + 0.35 % * 52/53
Officers - 0.24 % * 36/37
The + and - represent maximum and minimum occupancy by illness
3
Applied to 100,000 inhabitants.
Zaandam example.
inhabitants 100 % 100 000
hangers 5 % 5000
hard core 2 % 2000
Officers + 0.9 % 900
Officers - 0.3 % 300
4
Applied to 600 inhabitants;
Old Port ( oude haven, area in zaandam ) example;
inhabitants 100% 600
followers 5% 30
hard core 2% 12
Officers + 0.35 % * 2.1
Officers - 0.24 % * 1.4
* percentage in example 1, 2, and 4 was calculated from the average nationwide .
Example 3, zaanstad, is calculated with the real amount of officers and you see;
We are pleased with so many policemen. The national average rate could have made that max / min 350/240 officers, instead of the 900-300, were in Zaandam.
