Zaandam - Review of all four types of the Dutch Official Governement Regulated and Grown Medical Cannabis

4 species of 3 strains by governmental approved cannabis grower Bedrocan ® B.V. our dutch government's Office for Medicinal Cannabis, the B.M.C. is allowing for real patiënts. Names are; Bedica ® ( 14 % thc), Bediol ® ( 6% thc & 7,5% cbd), Bedrocan ® ( 19% thc ),and Bedrobinol ® ( 12% thc). Bediol & Bedica are delivered as a granules, a chopped version. It is almost sterile grown biological and x-ray treated to kill any molds and rest of bacteria. It looks dangerous, but x ray radiation flows away in 3 to 6 weeks. It is safe, especially for sensitive inflammatory diseases. All recipes were very stable during 2011 /2012. Fresh, tastefull and strong enough to compete with black market. Quality compared to the best weeds, is another matter, than it scores 50/60%. Sometimes it tasted as dry hay.

So far, biggest downsides are;

1) very high priced, while as a patient you have to experiment with, on your own costs.

2) it takes 3 to 15 months from harvest to reach the patient.

3) the strange smell and taste, caused by the sterile treatment. You get used to it.

Down below: My second prescription with all four species. Meanwhile I understand that Bediol ® (6% THC, CBD 7.5%) can last a 4 to 6 weeks for a certain constant blood level is reached and will continue or will be stabilized. For me that means I will be using most only Bediol ® next month. However, I will give my first impression of the 4 species here; For any kind of money Mild, soft, fresh, fresh, high quality. Neatly packaged, lockable, tad distinctive name, cannabis flos. It was real fast delivered in the pharmacy. Mostly in 2 days. Unlike what some people say, in pharmacies in the northern city of Groningen it is not cheaper than in in the city of Zaandam. And recent, d.d. oct 2013, we heard dutch paid 12,- euro and Finnis 14,50 euro p/gram. Patients in some countries patients pay hundreds of euros extra for permits and sending cost

Update 2016: Meanwhile the Netherlands patients can get Bedrolite ( 9% CBD and 0.4% THC) and since 2015 also cannabis oils on prescription for Dutch and Belgiums.
