What Remains ?

No Sunday sermon. My spine hurts too much by last weekend. No, no preaching but a tale in the series *Accidentally I live with 4 alcoholics and their 9 mental disorders while they have 7 counselors.* Friday we did combined gourmet and bouillon fondue whit meat, shrimp, papaya, sweet paprika, cauliflower, broccoli, chestnut champions, oyster mushrooms, rice, wine, sake, baguettes, cheeses, hot and mild sauces. And guests. The alcoholics were not invited. The guests arrived at 16:30 pm. The 63 year old girlfriend of the alcoholic "_stupid is, stupid does_" - who got me the fondue set for the cheese fondue on Wednesday (see post here https://plus.google.com/u/0/+JeroenvandenBerghDenDulck/posts/1vFJfcSKC5m ) - and a friend of hers. They had not seen each other for 5 months. The two friends promised each other to keep contact. An a fourth guest: a young veteran who helped with preparations. He ended up on a roadside bomb (IED) in 2007.

The shard that went through his eye was removed from the brains later. His mate lost his arm. A 70-year-old neighbor visited for a few hours. He has been skipper, trucker, biker and doorman. He had 2 glasses of sake, some cheese, bread and tears in his eyes. Yes. From the wasabi. Started diner at 18:00 / left the table at 21:00. Some coffee and all went home at 22:15. What remains ? A untouched bottle of wine, cleanup, more coffee and wash done at exactly 00:00. One day later i made soup of the remaining vegetables, meat and bouillon.

We were disturbed several times by the aggressive alcoholic with the broken shoulder. He was not invited. Recently, I have given him dinner a few times. Afterwards he had comments on rice not being real food.. On my remark that 2/3 of the world population does eat rice he responded _I do not care_. One comment I heard more from alcoholics over the past 30 years. "stupid is, stupid does" interrupted by phone at 20:00 and 22:00. Nagging about when she was going home.

While having dinner we talked about problems caused by her boyfriend "_stupid is, stupid does_", his lies, tricks and evil behavior on Wednesday evening of my cheese fondue. "stupid is, stupid does" does not allow his girlfriend's friends to come over at her house. She has been living there for 36 year while last year he rented a room in our house to commit social service benefits fraud. They are together for 5 years. Right. It is been said that years ago he molested 2 minors during his drunkenness and hit his ex wife. He has been aggressive and dominant towards the 63 year old girlfriend. During this conversation i heard that "stupid is, stupid does" has been trying to interfere with the hiring of vacant rooms in our house. I'm just the key manager and not owner. He has not been taking his medication and did no lifestyle changes so his thrombosis is now starting to color his toes black. Still he walks around 24/7 intoxicated by beer. An he has been spiteful towards my recent contact and dinner with a woman. He referred to "the bitch". Right.
