If injustice becomes the law,
resistance becomes an obligation.
( Sunday opinion ) The dutch head of police who denied the existence of pstd in the police corps on tv in 2010 has left the corps. His departure does not have anything to do with his denial of Combat stress / ptsd, that occurs ( in light or severe form ) in 6 out of 10 officers. Except the super-moon eclipse I saw far too much news. You too ?. So I'm not going loose on the Kunduz case, the fights, and lost international efforts of the past 20 years that became useless. Strange, 75% of dutch believe in democracy while they know it does not work and 80% of governmental expenses can be saved. Just as those traces of salt water found on Mars, that seem to be a step forward for mankind. But .. Are we marching to Mars to pollute things there - as usual ?. It pales the news of a study in mice with cancer. It appeared when they followed a diet or are completely abstaining from food just before chemotherapy, the chemo-side effects are much less. ( Source: Internal Oncology - Erasmus MC on their site: http://www.erasmusmc.nl/corp_home/corp_news-center/2015/2015-07/dieet.voorkomt.bijwerkingen.chemokuur/ ) Researchers believe the body produces protective substances in times of food scarcity. 25 years ago doctors in - and from - Africa said that people who are below the ideal weight have less 'welfare diseases' than Western people. Now, more on patients: The Netherlands has 16 million inhabitants. And the NCPF, The Dutch Patient Federation said in a study among 10.000 patients that, per year, due medical errors, injuries incur in 25.000 patients and thousand people die, mostly due wrong medication and mis-diagnosis. Also there would be many 'almost mistakes'. They should research the new trick of Achmea, an insurer who also happen to sell a lot of health insurances : Sharing your private data with the insurers provide discount on Insurance for car and home. If one places a box in the car, it registers driving behavior and if you do not drive to fast, then you might get discount. In your house a smart meter with carbon monoxide and fire detectors will be placed to give you discount. The insurance company said the data will not be shared with third parties. No of course, that is not necessary. They own their own health insurances also. The patients federation should investigate how it is possible that people with disabilities are still being abused in their homes. Or why all patients are the victims of insurance companies. They only want to have healthy people as customers, apparently. Or investigate the "kissing nurse" in Germany who was fired, was fined 7200 euro for harassing a patient systematically. He fondled and kissed her while she slept. Where is he now ?. Much uncertainty about reimbursements for prescription "home preparation" or customized medicines by pharmacists. Meanwhile, this year already 155 home-made medicines and total 400 homemade medicines were removed from the list by insurers. More often in the news is about the asylum seekers. Stones thrown by right-wing Dutch missed the city-buses with Syrian refugees on their way to a shelter center. Unfortunately, a few refugees are not that neat and grateful. In the city of Tilburg intrusive Syrians are begging and they do that very viciously. Another problem is created, because groups of different ethnic backgrounds are placed together in one center. As result, tensions became fights between the groups in several places in the Netherlands. Also in Germany almost every day there are fights in asylum centers. Hm I missed news that the war was here. The UNHCR estimates that at least 1.4 million refugees to come to Europe, my calculations in response to media reports, showed at least two million. News about fraud with emission software from 11 million cars is not really new. Netherlands research institute TNO warned a few years ago. The car manufacturer is now adjusting the software. Right. Not the emissions. Sorry I digress. What really is astonishing news: A dutch man got 4 years jail-time. Because with his car he killed a baby when he had 4 times more alcohol in his blood than is allowed. It appeared that he was previously convicted 7 times over a period of 30 years. In contrast: the neighbor country Belgium knows about penalties: The robbery on a jeweler, who was killed was penalized with 28 and 30 years.
What is the common thread in this story? Germany? Hm. We have created a society where criminals murder, robbery and commit fraud and get away with it laughing. Even if they are caught, the only thing that matters to them is their own lives. Not that of their victims. The entire social life of a victim at loggerheads. While the victim 24/7 has mental or physical problems, the bad guy is already with his next job, while he awaits the trial of the one time he was caught or someone had the courage to report the crime. Gets a victim reparations, this is in no way enough to offset all the suffering. These lawsuits may last for years. Innocent victims remain or keep for life. The law has become an obstacle for summary justice. Get it not time that we pull together?. There used to be a simple saying: third time lucky. In the case of the alcoholic who was trying to stabbing down, he has dozens, if not hundreds warnings. And so he continues to pollute our building and develop new criminal activities. Meanwhile, he always bragging that his counselors arrange everything for him. He has a big mouth and is blaming me that he was trying to stab me down. If in ancient times, a crook came in the village, the whole village would be waiting with the pitchfork, pots filled with hot tar, or ropes to hang such a person.
