The artistic style of civic endeavors is Biedermeier *. Typically, in Germany, the Monarchy had the greatest influence, historians in the region regarded it as a temporary art style between 1815 and 1848, and in the construction of furniture, the effect of classicism, which mixes with the elements of romance, prevails.
Biedermeier has made changes to the earlier (Baroque and Rococo) styles with a simpler design, puritanical and unusual choice of materials, slowly transforming the appearance of furniture with the ancient Roman and Greek era elements. In France, the most decisive of the age of furniture, the furniture of the directoire, which preceded Biedermeier, shows the formal simplifications that the Biedermeier has accomplished in comparison with the baroque.
In the earlier Viennese baroque furniture, the French royal decorative furnishings were melted in a masterful manner with the more puritanical English classical lines, the dichotomy of the bieder era was manifested, but the proportions in the meantime turned to classicism, the taste of the past in the furniture arcs back and forth.
The basic feature of the furniture is that it incorporates minimal, but emphasized decorative elements in simple but harmoniously arranged geometric shapes, highlights the beauty of the natural design and color of the wood. The quality and craftsmanship characterize joiner's work, as well as the shape.
Oak, pine, cherry, pear, fennel, melancholy, cherry, birch, light primer, knotty summer (topolya) venetian mirror symmetrical arrangement is simple, decisive. In light-based furniture, columns were often made of simple, but noble, ebony.
Following the age of Biedermeier, they followed the historical, neo -.... styles followed by their basic idea. The slowly forgotten furniture style came back to the public since 1873 when many of the rooms of the Vienna World Expo were furnished with Biedermeier-style furniture. Stylish furniture * was also made in this style, but to this day the original furniture was in good condition.
The design of Biedermeier furniture is evident in folk furniture, with the use of professional jargon "peasant bieder", the furniture that uses the Biedermeier furniture style element, is more modest in their technical solutions, base materials and decorations. These furniture were made with a few exceptions of solid pine wood, some of them made with rubber roller (sifted) with stained-up paintings of noble trees. These furniture have been published since the 1820s, most of which are now found in the 19th century. 2nd century AD, XX. from the first half of the century.
