The following information should be included about the drug you choose to research:
- Drug name
- Street or slang names for the drug
- What is it, what does it look like, and how is it made?
- Drug category (Stimulant, depressant, etc…)
- Is the drug legal? If so, for who?
- How is the drug used? (Smoked, ingested, inhaled, etc…)
- What are the short-term and long-term health effects of using the drug?
- What are the mental/emotional effects on the user?
- What are the social effects on the user? On society as a whole?
- Is this drug addictive? How? Physical, psychological, or both?
- Can you build up a tolerance to this drug? Is there a withdrawal?
- Statistics, charts, or graphs about the drug
- Pictures of the drug or related material
- Resources for recovery? Ex) Alcoholics Anonymous
- Any other relevant information to enhance your project. Ex) Real life stories, current events
