RESEARCH PROJECT: You will choose a subject from the large list below to do some basic research about.
If it is a person; who is it? A little bit of background about them, what they did for/in for Deaf community, and why are they important.
If it is a a place; where is it? A little bit of background about it, why is it important in the Deaf community.
If it is a thing; What is it? Where did it come from/who created it, and again why is it important in the Deaf community?
You may present your information however you would like...poster style, write a paper, some artistic form...whatever you choose, please make sure I approve it before you begin! I also ask that if you choose this option, that you prepare a brief, 5-minute presentation about what you found. It is really important that you share what you learn with your classmates...the best way to learn is from each other! Here is a list of subjects you can choose for your research project:
