SUNDAY TESTIMONIES AUGUST 2010
"I asked the Lord for the meaning to this vision and He impressed upon me the following: God said that His children must not be busy doing their own work, building their own kingdom with their own plans. He said that when the shaking comes, everything that is not built under God's leading will be shaken and be removed.
"However, God said that He will continue to pour down His blessings upon His children even during times of shaking. His blessings will never stop flowing into His children, for he will never leave us or forsake us.
"And even right now, God's blessings are rushing as torrents of river into this place, filling this place, blessing His people.
"To God be the glory for this vision."
COMMENTS (Pastor):
1. God continues to prepare His people for the shaking ahead by promising us that He will never leave us and will continue to bless us even when we ourselves face shakings in the future, because we have not been doing His work, but our own work.
2. The Spirit at this hour is calling us to return to Yeshua our first love, to wait on Him, to seek His face, to hear His voice, to receive His working plans for our lives, and to obey Him, so as to build His kingdom on this earth, a work that cannot be shaking.
When I saw the doctor again, after taking medication for the condition, I was still very fearful, and sure enough, the pressure did not change.
"I prayed over the phone with the pastor and a few other believers, and learnt to thank God for my healing, as I continued with my medication. A few days ago, I checked my blood pressure and it has returned to normal. I want to give all glory to God for His mercy.
"My husband had a fall 3 months ago. He suffered great pain and could not sit even when eating his meals for a week. After much prayers and thanks to God, my husband is now fully recovered. I want to give God all the glory. Praise His holy name!!!"
"One person had a card with the word 'Joseph' on it. The other persons' card was black in colour.
"The lord told me that The card with the word 'Joseph' represents the kingdom of God, which is full of God's promises to bless His children, just as He blessed Joseph in Egypt.
The black card represents th kingdom of darkness.
"The Lord then told me that His people must choose everyday to live for His kingdom, believing in His promises and obeying His Spirit, so that we can live in a season of miracles, just as Jposeph did.
We must not live to serve the kingdom of darkness.
"Praise the Lord for this dream."
(4) Brother Abraham Chuah's vision: "God wants us to humble ourselves before Him and always walk in repentance so as to enjoy the riches of His kingdom every day"
"A few weeks ago, God gave me a vision. In this vision, I saw a father pick up his son. I saw the boy cuddling the neck of his father and then he fell asleep. However, the father continued to hold onto the son even as the boy slept.
"The Lord then reminded me of His word to His disciples when they asked Him who was the greatest in His kingdom. The Lord had replied that unless you humble yourself like a little child, you shall not enter the kingdom of God. Yeshua also taught us that when we are poor in spirit (when we humble ourselves) we will be blessed, for th kingdom of God is ours.
"The Lord also reminded me of the Parable of the Lost Son, where the lost son repented and returned to his father, and the Father in turn restored back to the son all that he had lost. God our Father will always respond with grace and blessings into our lives whenever we repent and return to Him and His ways.
"Glory to God for His dream and vision."
COMMENTS (Pastor):
1. The dream and the vision given through Abraham Chuah speak of the same thing: God wants us to choose everyday to humble ourselves before Him (to acknowledge our total dependence on Him) and to repent of all sins and return to His ways. Through these two choices, we will always be choosing God's kingdom and live in God's abundant blessings.
2. On the other hand, if we chose to do our own things (this is pride), and hold onto our own ways (lack of repentance), we will be building the kingdom of darkness. It is a choice we have to make everyday.
(5) Sister Shanti's Miracle: "God has healed my friend of growths in her eyelids""My friend came with me last Sunday to this church and she went forward for prayer for growths in her eyelids. She has reported that after prayer, these growths have become smaller and smaller.
"All glory be to God!!!"

"Three weeks ago, I had a dream in which I saw 2 men walking to me with a card each in their hands.
(2) Sister Monica's miracles: "God heal my high blood pressure and also healed my husband after he had a fall"
"Two weeks ago, I suffered from high blood pressure, 200+ over 100+, and I began to have fears and worries about the dangers I faced from this condition, making my blood pressure even worse.

(1) Sister Amy's vision: "God continues to pour down His blessings upon His people even during times of shaking"
"As we were worshipping just now, I had a vision of nice huge bees, busy making honey and building up a huge hive. Then I saw a farmer's plane coming to spray pesticide to destroy the bees.
(1) Brother Ronald's miracle: "God delivered me from great danger"
"Last week, I helped a law firm from KL to serve a notice of bankruptcy on a house owner in a notorious part of town. I made a police report before I went, as a normal procedure.
When I found the house, I stuck the notice on the door. Then I saw two men approaching me with one of them holding a big stick. I feared for the worst, and bowed my head and cried to the Lord for help. When I looked up, I saw 2 policemen on their bikes. They asked me why I was there in that place. I told them about my errand, and they asked me to leave quickly as that was a dangerous place.
"I thank the Lord for delivering me from a nasty situation and for sparing me from a severe beating. All glory to Him forever and ever."
(2) Brother Goh's miracle: "God protected me from the loss of my purse in KL"
"Last week, I was very blessed to be able to attend my grand-daughter's graduation in KL. After the event, we went that evening to a food court for dinner with my my son and the new graduate, and two of my son's friends who happened to drop by from Malacca.
"As I was seated and enjoying the place and waiting for the food, one of my son's friends came to me and picked up a purse from the floor behind me, and he asked me, "Is this your purse?" It was indeed my purse, and I thank God that it was recovered even before I knew it was missing.
"If I had lost that purse, it would have spoiled my lovely and enjoyable holiday. I thank God for His great grace. I always pray and commit the day to God in the morning and God always answers my prayers.
"What a great and good God we have!!! All glory be to Him!!!"

(1) Sister Naomi's miracle: "God healed me of dengue after 7 days of fever and pain"
"Last week, I was sick for 6 days with fever and body pains. I had prayed and asked God for healing. On the 6th day, I had spots on my hands. My neighbours called the ambulance from the GH. When the ambulance came, the medical assistants asked why I did not go to GH earlier as I could have easily died.
"I prayed to God and asked Him to not let me die as I still have much work to do for Him on this earth. I sang all the way in the ambulance as we went to the GH.
"At the GH, I was put in the air-cond ACC Building, and put on a drip. A young doctor came and took my blood and asked why I came in so late, as I could have died. But I had great peace and no fear, and I encouraged all the other dengue patients in the ward. I told them that God will heal them as He has healed me.
"I want to thank God for all of you for your prayers and for those who also visited me, and gave me the juice of the papaya leaves to drink.
Within 2 days at the ACC ward, I was healed and was discharged!!!
What a miracle. To God be the glory!!!"
(2) Brother Jimmy Boey: "God gave me lots of miracles when my car broke down recently"
"Three weeks ago on a Sunday evening at Queensbay, after picking up my son at 9:15PM, my car broke down. The gears would no longer engage and the car could not move. I was stranded and desperate.
"I called my insurance tow-truck and they came, but they could not pull the car up into their truck. A friend gave me the number of another tow-truck company and this one came and did a good job. Praise the Lord for the first miracle.
"Meanwhile, my wife had gone to look for a car to rent at Queensbay Mall, but there was no car rental shop there. She then took a cab to the airport, but then found that all the car-rental stalls had closed for the night. As she was exiting the airport doors, she met a Christian brother who offered to lend us a car. Meeting this brother was a divine arrangement. This was the second miracle.
"A friend than gave me the number of a good foreman and when the tow-truck came, we towed my car all the way to this foreman. This man was the third miracle for he was an honest man.
"The next day, I had to take leave from my work as I had returned home quite late (way after midnight). I went to the foreman and he told me that the problem was with a chain in the gearbox. If it had broken, I would have to pay RM700 to repair it. However, he instead modified the chain so that it was working again. I only paid RM65.
This was the forth miracle.
"I want to give all glory to God!!!"

(1) BOG Members' Appreciation Day, Sunday 8 August 2010: "Thank God for every member and family in BOG"
1. None of us is here in BOG by chance.
2. It is God who has brought every family here in BOG.
1 Corinthians 12:18
"But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wanted them to be."
3. Every member is important, and greater honour must be given to those who are weakest.
1 Corinthians 12:22-23
22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor.
4. Every part must have equal concern for the welfare of one another, for when one member suffers, everyone in the church suffers.
1 Corinthians 12:25-26
25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
5. A towel was given as a gift of appreciation to every family. Engrammed on each towel was the word "Glory," to declare that the glory of God has come to every family in BOG, bringing us into a new season of miracles.
(2) Sister Joanne Tan's miracle: "God confirmed me in my present job"
"I give God the glory for confirming me in my present job. Hallelujah!!!"

(1) Sister Naomi's miracle: "God healed me using a dream"
"I had a dream last week, In my dream, I was climbing a mountain, overlooking a sea. I suddenly saw huge waves in the sea with lightning flashing from it. I saw many people running away from the electric flashes from the sea. I prayed to the Lord and I also ran with them.
"I saw our pastor in the distance. Then I heard a voice that said, 'Drink the water and you will be healed.' Then I saw a well nearby, but there was no ladle. Suddenly a ladle appeared. I then used the ladle and drank and drank from the well. Then I woke up.
"Two days later I had a meal where I ate canned fish cooked in black beans from China. After eating the fish, my stomach was very upset and I felt very sick. I suddenly recalled the dream. I quickly went and got a few cups of water, and prayed over it, asking God to change the water into the blood of Yeshua, and I drank the water. I then went and slept for a short while. Then I woke up perfectly healed.
"I give all glory to God for healing me by giving me a dream before it happened."
(2) Sister Patrina's miracle: "God healed me and showed me great favour"
"I was in great pain in my right hand recently because my fingers were locked due to past injuring from heavy lifting. I went to the GH and they gave mean appointment for September to operate on my palm. I had to go overseas and I needed to have the operation earlier. I have a friend who was a nurse and who helped me secure an early operation which took place last week. The surgeon personally wanted to help me and he did the operation using only local anesthesia, so that I did not need to have a bed in the ward. The operation was very successful, and I give all glory to God."
(3) Sister Patrina's miracle: "God gave me a job in the UK"
"I asked the Lord for a job for me, as I needed some funds to help my daughter in her studies (She wants to do a Masters in Australia). I had 3 offers, one from Canada and 2 from UK. I took a job in the UK which allowed me to have Sunday off. I will be leaving next Sunday.
"Our God is a miracle-working God and I give Him all glory."
(4) Brother Moses' miracle: "God gave me a new car through great favour from man"
"I was looking to buy a car, and I thank the pastor for recommending me a sales agent who helped me get a new car. I am only 19 years old and is not eligible for a car loan by myself. I needed to have a guarantor. However, my sales agent helped me by sending my application down to KL for the bank approval of a car loan, and I was successful!
"I want to thank God for showing me such great favour."
(5) Sister Debra's miracle: "The police showed me great favour and mercy when I was stopped for talking on my phone"
"A few days ago, as I was driving, the handphone rang. Though I had hands-free on the handphone, the phone dropped. So I had to pick it up and answer the call without the hands-free. Two policemen on their bikes stopped me. I told them I was wrong. I smiled at them, and asked for mercy. One responded by saying that 'You can go this time, we will not fine you.'
"I truly thank God for His mercy and grace. He is a good God who helps us in all times of need."
