George Milfred

Last Friday evening, while returning home from Ironton with his horse and buggy, Geo. Milfred of this village, was struck by a passing car driven by Thomas Manville Jr of Ironton. Neither of the parties received serious injuries but the buggy was badly damaged and the car overturned. It seems the car had no lights so the driver failed to see Mr. Milfred until it was too late to avoid a collision.
