Suggestions for printing in color:

Use high-quality paper to prevent warping
Print the cover on a separate page
Print the remaining pages on both sides of the paper (duplex printing); there are wider inner margins for a binding
Let the pages dry flat before binding
Add a clear cover on the front, and a binding cover on the back
Bind with either ibico comb binding and a spiral, or as a paperback (sometimes called "perfect" binding)

"I began this project in 2017 when I was curious to find out whether Johann "John" Dischler's middle name began with D or B. . . My research led to finding other interesting things about the Dischler family, so I decided to put it into book form. . . . There is a lot more research that could be done, such as finding land records in Germany and Wisconsin, and other interesting documents in German archives which would enhance their story even more."

The book documents the lives of Johann Baptist Dischler and Anna Maria Ruhland. Johann Baptist Dischler was born and baptized as Johann Baptist Tischler on March 20, 1849, in

Frankenschleif in the parish of Waldmünchen, county of Waldmünchen, in the Oberpfalz region of Bavaria, Germany. Prior to living in Frankenschleif, the family lived in Muckenthal (also spelled Muggenthal) near Schönsee (15 miles northwest of Waldmuenchen). Anna Maria "Mary" Ruhland was born on August 1, 1852, in Glessling, Gemeinde Ulrichsgrün, county of Waldmünchen in the Oberpfalz region of Bavaria, Germany.

Their 9 children were born in Wisconsin:

- Mary (husband Joseph Bindl)
- Barbara (husband Joseph Haller/Holler)
- Matilda (husband John Bauer)
- Theresia (husband Henry Bindl)
- Brigitta (2 husbands: Johann Ring and Joseph Bindl)
- Gustina Dischler (died age 15)
- Veronica (husband Thomas Bindl)
- John (2 wives Mary Brickl & Katherine Martens)
- Joseph (wife Mary Laubmeier)
- Emelia (husband Jacob Heiser)

The book, which continues where Phyllis Dearborn's research left off, has original German documents, maps, ship passenger lists, census records, marriage documents, photos, wedding and anniversary articles, obituaries, tombstone photos, and much more, and includes names and information for the 3rd generation (grandchildren of Johann and Anna Maria).
