At-home Practice:
Supplies:
deck of cards
Give each player 8 cards. Place the remaining cards in a stack. Player 1 selects two of his/her cards to make a two-digit number and places them on the playing surface. (ex. He chooses a 4 and a 7 to make the number 47.) Player 2 then looks for 2 cards in his/her hand to make into a two-digit number that is greater than Player 1’s number. If successful, Player 2 wins all four cards. If not, Player 1 wins the cards. Draw new cards from the pile to keep 8 cards in each player’s hand. Player 2 begins the next round. The player with the most cards wins.
