RSU #68 Mathematics
In RSU #68, we believe that every student deserves to become a strong mathematical problem solver in our community. We will develop mathematically proficient students through a focus on reasoning and a deeper understanding to prepare each student to succeed in a changing world.
What's Happening at Sedomocha!
We had a great time kicking off our One Book One School event with many students and their families! We enjoyed a pizza dinner, selecting free books to take home, and participating in engaging math, literacy, and art activities. Mrs.Benway and Mrs.Shea, the instructional coaches, provided learning resources for parents and guardians to support their child's learning at home. There were places to learn more about our title I programing, the after school program, and the Thompson Free Library.
SeDo Solves!
Grades 1-4 have the opportunity to select a certificate to a local business for completing a month of nightly math skill practice. Simply fill out the eagle log sheet, one side for reading the other for math, have your child put their name on it and practice each night, then return it to school. Your child will earn a certificate AND practice thier basic facts to help them in the classroom.
