‘The Treehouse’ is a virtual reality game set inside a child’s treehouse, the game aims to give the player a sense of nostalgia as they interact with toys and access minigames that hold an aesthetical nod to toys that most players would have played with when they were younger.
The game holds two minigames that the player can access and experience. One is ‘Labyrinth’, a navigation based maze game where the player will try to outrun a dinosaur and get to the end by following Audio cues. The other is ‘Defense of Drillbot’, a tower defense game where the player is able to place down ‘towers’ in order to shoot enemies before they can attack the drillbot.
Both of the minigames are built with a child-like aesthetic in mind, all assets and sounds will be kid friendly and hopefully players will feel like they can play around in the areas as if they are a child.
