Little Change Market is a short 3D animation about a modern fantasy village that lives harmoniously within a giant tree: It gives a peek into the daily life of one of these residents and how they make a difference for the environment and their community through their little actions and choices.
The purpose behind this project was to give people inspiration and ideas on how to in their own lives, make the little choices that would build better habits and a better future. By reflecting what the audience is doing on the screen based on where they are, I aimed to better engage with the audience through mirroring their actions. For example, the restaurant faces the food court and to those watching from that angle, they would likely be sitting eating but be able to see a character also sitting and eating, the only difference being the little choices that the character makes compared to the audience.
Overall I wanted to share this idea that as a society we are not as separate from our environment as we like to think- hence the nature themes all throughout the characters and their environment. However instead of demanding massive changes, I wanted to show how important the little everyday choices can be, and that change doesn't happen overnight.
Rome wasn't built in a day after all- and nor were better habits!
