Brockmans Gin

This trimester, we were given the brief to rebrand a product. I chose 'Brockmans Gin' as the current design is fairly outdated.
My goal is to give the branch a fresh & premium branding campaign with a new bottle design with hints to the original styling and a tweaked marketing campaign to attract a younger audience while still maintaining the more mature gin drinkers.
Brockmans Gin is a sophisticated gin targeted towards a more mature & experienced gin drinker. The company was founded in 2008 by 2 men with over 60 years of expirience in the drinks industry. The taste of the gin is described as "intensely smooth" with subtle berry hints.
The purpose of the rebrand is to give the brand an overall refresh without loosing the traditional links to old fashioned punk aesthetics. I've tried to give the brand a fresh look to attract a younger audience of men and women while also maintaining the current, older customers.
The idea behind this design is basically revolving the branding around the statement "Intensely Smooth" and highlighting that quality of the gin. The smooth water is to complement the smooth texture of the gin. The ice floating in the water, and the hands made out of ice is a link to the brands saying “The aim was to create a gin so smooth and sensual, you would want to drink it neat over ice”. All the smooth elements in the scene are there to contrast with the hard bottle shape with studs and a bold shape.
The purpose of the bottle redesign is to attract a younger audience of males and females while maintaining the current, older customers. The new bottle shape and logo type is to give the gin a more fresh and modern look. The studs around the bottle are to link back to the original branding of the gin which is very influenced by old punk aesthetics.
I've gone with a frosted glass finish as apposed to the black glass the black bottle can be seen as masculine, esspecially with the fatter bottle shape.
Created cover artwork for the soundtrack for video game "God of Riffs".
The aesthetic is punk and bold to reference the style of music the soundtrack involves.
The graphics were created in 3D software (Blender) & Photoshop.
