Suits of Banksia is a design project aiming to raise awareness of the endangered Banksia Woodlands within the Swan Coastal Plain. Stretching from Jurien Bay to Dunsborough, this ecological community of unique plants and animals are only found together here in our state of Western Australia, however, many species found in this area have suffered a loss of 60% overall. As a result, the woodlands are fragmented in small patches, due to destruction of habitats, via protective fire regimes and land clearing, as well as invasive species and climate change.
I will be bringing together story and imagery to create a series of playing card designs, using the flora and fauna of Perth’s unique Banksia Woodlands to redesign adored characters from the cherished world created by Lewis Caroll. Alice in Wonderland proves to be a timeless story about identity and growing up and my illustrations will act as stories within themselves, to invite one to revisit their childhood while enjoying and celebrating what makes Western Australia unique.

A short, vertical slice of a character driven story based on the consequences of the player's actions. I created character concept art of the three main protagonists.
Invoke is a carefully crafted publication that is essential to the modern witches everyday life; reflect on the rare collection of histories, rituals, recipes and articles that you can use in your own practice. The idea is to bring a modern interpretation to the ancient and long standing subculture of Paganism and Wicca. Ultimately, this magazine will provide content that acts as an introduction to the religion, focusing on the history, rituals, culture and communities within Australia. These magazine are created with the intent of building up one's resources and discovering avenues to purchase products and tools for their craft and find opportunities of short seminars and local holiday celebrations through advertisements.
Re-Train is a walking interactive narrative experience that features unique monologue and a developing story achieved through environmental storytelling.
You play as an old train conductor who is reliving his life he spent in the Victoria Express. Inspired by the TV show Snowpiercer, Re-train shows the hierarchical separation of the different social classes.
Re-Train teaches the value of appreciating one's past life, it's lessons, and a sense of community. The hope is that this story will invite the reader to consider a new perspective, reflect on their own lives and remember this message.
I designed the cover, poster and banner, as well as a logo for the project.
