self portrait

The subject of this piece is me. I used charcoal and graphite to create this. It was an assignment for art class, and I used the balance for the entire space between my border.

I have formal balance and framing in this art. On many occasions, I had to change the bridge of my nose or the curve of my hair. If I could go back and change something it would be the little glue stain underneath the eye. my self-portrait relates to my life because it is my face. There is a look/meaning on my face of contentedness and happiness.
