paint strip

The subject of this art piece is a simple representation of color and how it has many shades. In order to make this is used acrylic paint. I choose these two primary colors because I had a feeling that their shades would be really pretty.

Value is the mainly used composition rule in this artwork. My project turned from one single color, to 8 different shades of that color! This project is supposed to show value and shades of two of the primary colors. If anything could be stronger or changed in this piece, it would be the border. Although I used tape to make my line clean, it did not work, and paint went outside of the lines.
