Beautiful Oops

The setting is based in space, in some unknown universe with a lollipop galaxy. I used paper, pencil, sharpie, gel pens, highlighter, and a black colored pencil+shader. The drops of ink reminded me of cartoon commits about to hit a planet. I don’t know a lot about space, but these blobs looked exactly like flaming balls of rock enroute for the ground of some planet.

I spaced the commits close together in order to get rid of white space, and I also colored the background black to make it more framed.I filled the space of the paper. I used an orange pen to show that the commits were on fire and that they were fast. The commits were in a really good place, because the spacing made it so I could easily show a planet close to being hit by the commits.

The commits were once apart of the rings around a planet until they somehow got loose and flew through space picking up enough momentum to start flaming up. I guess you could say the commits are like homework fling at me, and the planet they are about to hit is me. I can’t stop the inevitable (commits/homework) and have to deal it. I think I could have used colored pencils instead of highlighters and gel pens, and I should have made the background more pigmented.
