This piece has no setting. It focuses on a hand with a rubber band on it. Leading lines were used in my artwork to make the hand the dominant item. The background was put in to balance out the piece.
I used light line to show the creases throughout the hand. At first, my background was going to be one solid pattern, but I changed it to multiple to put a twist on a somewhat boring layout.
There is no meaning behind this artwork. It's simply just my hand, but holding a rubber band. This project taught me both about size proportioning and contouring. It relates to my life because the object in the picture is my left hand.
