Cheerleaders do a great job at cheer. All the flips, learning dances and many others. Cheerleaders also have to try out and get selected. Cheerleaders work day and night to cheer on sports teams. After school activities are big commitments, how do cheerleaders do it?

These are the cheerleaders making a pyramid.

First of all, how do cheerleaders learn new cheers? With lots of experience coaches step in. Learning new cheers sounds like a breeze but it is a big commitment. You have to go to every sports game and practice. Which might not sound like a lot of time but, time eventually adds up.

Sports can be fun and all but sometimes very stressful. Addison Skinner said, “If you and your team messes up you can’t yell at your teammates.” If you mess up your whole team messes up. Even when it’s hard a team still has to work together.

Is Cheerleading ever easy? A sport is almost never easy. If sports are so hard, why do people try so hard? “I do cheerleading because I love the friends and families I have made,” said Molly Wisniewski. When something is challenging people might have someone supporting them. Which could be family and friends.

Cheering for teams! Cheerleaders also have to go to every sports game to cheer on teams away or home. Cheerleading is a slow process with learning the moves and the lyrics to cheers, figuring out uniforms. Cheerleaders do many things that you don’t know about to cheer you and your team on.

Cheerleaders are there to help you and get you pumped ready to play the game! Shouting and flipping might look easy but there are a lot of things that have to be done behind the scenes. Cheerleaders do all of this work for you! What do you think, Is cheerleading actually ever easy?
