Why the IU Outdoor Pool is a Good Place to go in the Summer

Splash Splash! Come to a pool that is clean and has a good price, just $7/day. It’s the IU outdoor pool. There are three pools with many opportunities for the whole family or just you. Most pools that are outdoors need cleaning and are low on staff.

At IU, you can have access to a clean outdoor pool. Some pools that are outdoor are not clean, have bacteria and leaves in them.  This is different at the IU pool. It is not just clean, it has shade spots, a snack area, showers, bathrooms, lockers, and changing areas that are clean and cool.

IU pool has good prices like $7 a day pass and $188 for a season pass. There are household passes like the 30-day one that cost $200 and the season pass costs $376. There are also Individual season passes that cost $188 and 30 day passes that cost $100. A day pass is from 1 to 6 p.m. costs $7 and a Twilight day pass is from 5-6 p.m. costs $4.

There are different sized pools like the lap pool, kid pool, and diving pool. The lap pool has rows of lanes where you can swim laps, and an open one with deeper water for classes.  The kid pool is fairly large with shallow water and it is where you can watch your kids play. There is a diving pool with limited access to swimmers that pass a swim test. Those who pass get to have accesses to 4 diving boards and 2 platforms.

The IU pool is a the best spot to go because it’s clean and they have a good price. If you just want to sit down relax and watch your kid swim or swim yourself it is a good pool to try out yourself. This is why I like the IU pool.
