Do you struggle in a class? Possibly ELA? Math? Well, WIN classes are just the thing you need. They help students to improve their grade, interact with multiple teachers, and learn more about a topic that they struggle with. Read on to learn about why WIN classes are necessary and help people with their grades.

One reason that WIN classes are necessary is because they help people learn more about a topic they may not understand. “WIN classes are good classes to take in case you struggle with an important course, it could benefit your perspective on that subject.” Says Alexis Smith, a student at Edgewood. If there weren’t any WIN classes, many people would have worse grades than they do currently. It can also help them be more organized with their homework and classes. They also have learning experiences personalized for each individual to help them with what they need, hence what WIN stands for, What I Need.

Another reason WIN classes are necessary is that if a student has a bad grade in a class, a WIN class can give them momentum to bring it up. “I believe WIN classes are necessary so that every person will get a good education.” Says Addison Clark, another student at Edgewood. Many people in our school have a low grade in multiple classes, even grades lower than an F-. If they don’t take WIN classes, they could have an I at the end of the year, resulting in possibly having to stay in the same grade they are currently in. But with WIN classes, that most likely won’t happen.

The last reason that WIN classes are necessary is because if you take a WIN class one year, you might not have to the next. WIN classes can not only help with the subjects you learn in one year of school, but can help with a subject the next year. You can use what you learned in the WIN class during one grade in the next grade. If you apply that knowledge to your classes, then you might not have to take WIN classes, and you’ll be able to take other classes.

WIN classes are a great way to learn more about a subject, and help students learn so much. So many people see their grades improve when taking WIN classes, and when their grades go up, they thrive. That is why I believe that WIN classes are necessary.
