Minecraft is Better Than Fortnite

Have you ever had a full week of school or work and just wanted to do something fun and relaxing? Maybe you just need to blow off some steam. Either way Minecraft is a perfect solution! You could play around in creative mode, or go mine for diamonds in survival. For some reason many people might think that the commonly played game Fortnight is better than Minecraft, but I'm here to tell you why it's not.
Minecraft has many different modes and editions you can play on, which is why many different types of people like it. Callie Beyers says, “If you are out in the wild [in minecraft] it teaches you how to survive.” You could build a tower with your friends, or kill them during PVP! Another option is you could test your surviving skills on survival mode. While in Fortnite you get dropped out of a flying bus, and skydive to your location. After that you fight other players in hopes to be the last to survive. Both games give you the option to be creative and use your survival skills, but Minecraft gives you so many different options and possibilities to let your imagination run wild.
Some people believe that it's easier to move around in Minecraft, which in my opinion could be the difference between a decent game and a great game. When I asked one sixth grade girl, Tinley Jablonski, if she preferred Minecraft or Fortnite she said, “Minecraft because you can still do the same things as Fortnight but it's easier to build and use your imagination.” And I completely agree. In Fortnite creative mode you can build and do different things, but it is hard to control your player and move around while in Minecraft you can do things with ease.
Minecraft, while it is recommended to be played from ages 8-10+, can be played at almost any age if there is someone supervising what servers or modes they play on. This is because even if you don’t want your kids fighting zombies, they could still play on creative mode. While according to ESRB Ratings, Minecraft can be played even at a young age, Fortnite is a little more violent so many websites including Bright Canary recommend waiting till the age of 12 or 13 to play this game. Since Minecraft can be played at a younger age you don’t have to wait as long to play with younger friends or family members.
In conclusion, Minecraft is a better game for several different reasons. Some of those reasons are you can play at a younger age, be as creative as you want, and have many different fun experiences! These are just some of the many reasons why I believe Minecraft is superior to Fortnite.
