2023-2024 Colts Chronicles Recap

The colts chronicles website has had many articles published, but there are so many, like the specialty issues! This recap on the colts chronicles articles will Include features, editorials, sports, entertainment, breaking news, extras, and even the analytics of colts chronicles!
Features: The features section is full of many articles, about people, places, and much more! There are many features, like one of the new features: About Ilearn. There are also a lot more, not just about topics but also events that happen at the school! Like how there are many articles about the band and choir concerts. Lots of them getting top views!

Breaking news: This section has many important events covered, like popular topics, for example, the announcement of phones being banned from schools, at the moment it has around 15 people who read it. Other articles on the breaking news section have had many readers. Like Zoey Carter, a 6th grader at EJHS; she had a breaking news article and it got one of the top read articles when published! Zoey Carter said, “Seeing that not only has my article had made front center on the home page but it also pulled a lot of reads made me so happy and was a very exciting feeling!”
Editorials: These past publishes have had so many editorials! All the way from food, to makeup, to books or video games! There have been over 20 editorials in just 3 or 4 publications. Not only were there lots of articles from this section but also had just around 1,400 views total! Out of all the sections, editorials had the 4th most views total this year!
Entertainment: A lot of the articles in this section are about games and movies, and if you should get them, or if it’s about them. “I think that entertainment is the most fun to write,” says Callie Beyers, a 6th grader at EJHS. There are many mixed opinions about the entertainment section but many people love it. Unlike the other highly viewed sections, this section had around 1,100 viewers. Not a ton less, but is lower than the other sections.
Sports: This section, if you couldn’t tell, is about sports! The section includes: cheer try outs, tennis, and even looks into professional sports! This section has many interesting articles, but unfortunately is the least most viewed section, coming out with 1,116 views this year.
Extras: While there isn't enough anytilics to cover all of the reader of all the specials, there have been 2 main extra sections/publishes. First, the halloween publish. It consisted of Upcoming Attractions and Events, Myths and Legends, Halloween Entertainment, Spooktacular Sports, and Editorials. Its almost the same with the Christmas publish except for that it’s themed differently. It has: Upcoming Attractions and Events, Traditions and Legends, Holiday Entertainment, Holiday Editorials, and Winter Sports.
