“Hey batter batter batter, SWING!” Edgewood baseball and Softball opening day is on April 9th, 2024. Softball will be at home (Edgewood softball fields). The game will start at 5:30 pm and end somewhere around 9:00 pm. Baseball will be at home (Edgewood baseball fields). Baseball also starts at 5:30 pm after school and ending at 9pm.

Speaking of our 2024 softball team a couple of the softball players are Baylee Clark, Laina Chandler, Khloee Wykoff, Braylin Bentley, and Story Heckman. Most of these players have a past with the sport whether it's with EYS softball, rec ball, a travel team, etc.  The team is amazing not only with their playing skill but also with their welcoming hearts! Baylee Clark, a player on the team said “One of my favorite things about the team is that they are so welcoming to everybody and they make everyone have a way of fitting in; they also make it so easy to make new friends!” The Edgewood softball team is so excited and nervous for their first game, not knowing if they could win, but everyone will try their best and hope for the best!

Softball team from 2022-2023

Our Edgewood Baseball team is preparing to start the season on April 9th!At the Edgewood fields! One of our baseball players is Izak David. He was one of the two 6th-grade baseball players on the team along with Jameson Ward. He plays with a few of our 7th and 8th graders as well. A couple are Nash Taylor, Anderson Georges, Jonah Sigelin, Jessie Dixon, and Mason Keller. Our team is very confident about the opening night! Let's hope for a good ending and try our best!

Our softball team had an amazing game with a win of 12-4! Were so proud of our team and grateful for everyone's efforts, Whether you were cheering our team on or playing on the field. Baseball went good, sadly we lost 6-1. We're still so happy for our baseball team for having high hopes and trying their best, that's all we can ask for from a sports team! We had about a 30 minute lighting warning/break. Our 4teams got right back on the field and shook of the rain and fought for the win!

It's only 5$ to get in, it is only 15$ to get the family Pass which is only good for family units living in the same household. The game went amazing and were proud of our teams no matter what! We hope you had a great time cheering on our sports team.
