 IMG Academy, a very well known high school in Manatee county, Florida, Has one of the best Athletic programs in the country. From basketball to Lacrosse, IMG Academy has got everything a young athlete needs. In this Article, you will learn all about the athletics at IMG Academy.

 If you're looking for a school that produces quality athletes, don’t look any farther than IMG Academy. IMG Academy has had many athletes that have made it to the pros. One example of iMG Academy’s prestigious athletic program can be seen in Zach Edey, a 7 '4 center that just declared for the NBA Draft from Purdue University is expected to excel in the NBA. Edey averaged 25 points in his last season at Purdue and is another testament to IMG’s great athletics. IMG doesn't just produce good basketball players, they also have produced over 100 division 1 baseball players and had 9 alumni that were in the 2023 MLB Draft.

 IMG Academy doesn’t just provide training for people who go to the school, they also let children as young as age 10 go to train at IMG Academy. Some sports that they train include Baseball, Basketball, Football, golf, lacrosse, track and field, tennis and many others. Although these are great opportunities for young athletes looking for an extra boost in their performance, these camps are very pricey; Some even get to over four to five thousand dollars. Due to this, unless your parents are pretty affluent, you probably are not getting an opportunity at IMG Academy. Not only are the camps expensive, Tuition and Boarding at IMG Academy can be up to 90,000 dollars per year. For example, a scholarship at IU is usually 1,000-11,000 dollars per year. 

IMG Academy doesn’t just excel in the sports department though, they also have a very prestigious education program too. Brent Richard, a chief executive officer at IMG says,”I believe that IMG Academy is one of the most unique offerings in global education, and I simultaneously believe that we are providing the best holistic education experiences in the world.” This quote shows that IMG Academy has a great education system and they are able to share it with people from all around the globe.
