Do you like murder? Do you like robots? Well, if so, this show is for you! Murder Drones is an indie animation series by GLITCH Productions, also the creator of The Amazing Digital Circus. They started working on this series in 2021, just a few years after the pandemic started. It was a great way to spend your days while you were all cooped up at home! Now, it’s reached its highest point of popularity, with an average of about 19 million views per episode. They also announced that there will be 2 new episodes released soon, but were then canceled for the next few episodes of The Amazing Digital Circus.

Murder Drones is a horror-comedy YouTube series, with 6 episodes in total. Uzi is the main character, who goes to school in a post-apocalyptic world. She has purple eyes, purple hair, and a beanie she wears everywhere. She has a snarky teenage attitude, and is very fond of saying the phrase ‘Bite me!’ She meets a murder drone, Serial Designation N, and befriends him. N wears a black pilot’s hat, has white hair, and wears a black winter coat with a fur neck. He, however, has yellow eyes and can transform into a flying drone with saw hands. He also has a tail that he can stab worker drones with to kill them.

“I liked it because there was murder, there were drones, and there was a little bit of rude comedy, but I still loved it.” says London Young, a student at EJHS. It has some crude humor, but not much. There is also violence, but only towards drones. Oil represents the drones’ blood, and their ‘organs’ are just wires. It is rated PG-13 for gore and violence, crude humor, and frightening and intense scenes. It is recommended for ages 12 and up. Do not watch this if you have epilepsy or hemophobia. They fight the main antagonist, a company called JCjensen that sent the murder drones down because they didn’t like runaway worker drones.

The creator, GLTCH Productions, has made 2 other animated series, Sunset Paradise and Meta Runner. They have a YouTube channel and a website, where they show what they’ve made and advertise their products. They’re yet to be on any streaming services like Netflix, Disney, or Prime Video but are very famous on YouTube. They have 7.91 million subscribers on YouTube and even have their own convention, GlitchX. They have another channel, SMG4, mainly for their comedy skits. It includes characters like Mario, Luigi, SMG3 and SMG4. Murder Drones was created, directed, and written by Liam Vickers.

Murder Drones, all in all, is a great series for anyone who likes animated Sci-Fi thrillers, and cliffhangers that will leave you shocked to the point where you just can’t wait for the next episode to come out anymore.
