Buc-ee’s originated in Clute, Texas in 1982. Their headquarters are in Jackson, Texas. The founder was Arch Alphin III. He named the store Buc-ee’s, because of his childhood nickname, “Buck '', and the mascot of a toothpaste brand.

When I said it is the perfect place to go in case you forgot to get your partner or kid something special? Well Buc-ee’s is the place! You can get anything from candles to key chains. It works if you went on a really long trip, and forgot something to get. They also have really amazing food if you ever want something to eat. They have really nice bathrooms, really good food, and the store is just really clean as well.
