10: Stray

Stray is an adventure game for PC, where your avatar is an orange tabby cat trying to survive through a large walled city with robotic people and revolutionary technology. The cat (A.K.A you,) is helped by a small floating robot called B-12, which makes robotic bleeps as its language. Sort of like a small, floating R2-D2. The cat’s goal is to get out of the city, and get over the walls. Rating: 2.5 stars.

9: Beat Saber

Beat Saber is a rhythm game for the VR on PS4 filled with different kinds of music, neon colors, and bright lights. Beat Saber’s objective is to get a grade of A on every single kind of song, genre, and etc. When you select a song on Beat Saber, prepare to go fast motion with your hands. That is, if you’re on medium or higher. You have to slash all of the squares falling towards you to where the arrows are pointing. Rating: 3 stars.

8: Super Smash Bros Ultimate

This Switch game features all of your favorite Super Mario characters, Sonic, and even MInecraft Steve! There are people from many different video game franchises like Minecraft, Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, Kirby (YAY KIRBY) and Splatoon. The game is a large floating island in many different areas, and your goal is to knock the other player (or in some cases, AI) off the island. There are power-ups that appear on the screen as you battle, and you can use them to your advantage. Every character has their range and arsenal of weaponry. Kirby, for example, can swallow a character and spit them out, and use their abilities to take the crown. Rating: 4 stars.

7: Splatoon

Splatoon is a video game franchise involving a lot of ink, squids, and ink guns. There are many blasters to choose from in your arsenal, and great arenas to battle on. The game franchise started on the Wii U, then made a second, and very recently made a third one for Switch. The game goes like this: there’s at least one person on each color team, and they have to make a lot of territory using their ink guns. They start out with a decent amount of ink, then make some territory. Once they run out of ink, they have to turn into a squid and reload by swimming in the ink. The game is very fun and entertaining, and will keep you busy for hours. Star rating: 4.5

6: Five Nights At Freddy’s

Five Nights at Freddy’s, also known as FNAF, is a very popular video game series for PC, Switch, and PlayStation. The game rounds upon four animatronics going by the names of Freddy, Chika, BonBon, and Foxy. There have been extra animatronics added, such as Springtrap and Golden Freddy, but the entire game franchise goes like this: players go inside of a large and long-abandoned restaurant called Freddy’s Family Diner, where the Animatronics live. They have to survive five nights without getting killed by the animatronics. There have been new games for FNAF like FNAF Security Breach, or FNAF 2, but they all go in the same way. Star rating: 5.5
