The most memorable game console ever, Nintendo.

And its arch nemesis SEGA.

Who has the best games, who makes more money, who is the best console?

These 2 have been rivals until SEGA was born. Nintendo was the first, it's probably older than you dad and maybe your grandpa. Everyone that was born through 1980-1999 knows the fabulous name Nintendo. Every kid had a Nintendo in the 1900s. They were loved for their super popular games such as Duck Hunt, the legend of zelda, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Kirby, and the one that made all of the games look terrible, the one, the only Super Mario Bros! This was big, really big. It sold to more than 40 million people across the globe.

Everybody knew about Mario and Luigi, the two plumbing brothers that saved a princess from a huge fire breathing lizard. They came out with even more games including Luigi Mansion, and Doctor Mario. This wasn't good for everyone though, especially SEGA. They used to be the best gaming console but when Super Mario Bros came out the Nintendo franchise made millions while SEGA was left in the shadows. Until SEGA’s CEO (Haruki Satomi) had a brilliant idea, an image in his dreams, that's when…

The super speedy hedgehog. Sonic was born. When sonic was released it blew everyone away. The graphics, the story, and overall the gameplay.

It was about a super sonic hedgehog that is trying to save the world from the evil doctor. Eggman. As you explore you collect chaos emeralds while finding loyal companions. If he collects all the chaos emeralds he will basically have the power of the sun. Sonic was a hit and Sega was back on top again. But Nintendo didn't give up, they came out with a portable console, The Nintendo 64. Again Nintendo was back on top with new games such as Yoshi's Island. Just when Nintendo thought they won SEGA fought back with something nobody knew was possible.

They created a video game that was 3D. As this happened they came out with collaborations, and many, many more games that were a hit, such as Puyo Puyo 2, Fantasy Zone ii W, Galaxy Force ii, and many more. Nobody knew that this was even possible. Nintendo and SEGA kept fighting, coming out with new games left and right. But then the Wii came out as an immersive experience and later in 2013 the fight ended with Nintendo victorious by finally SEGA giving the rights to Sonic The Hedgehog, for a big fat profit. SEGA surrendered and gave up the one game that allowed them to even be this popular. So now you know the truth: Nintendo is the superior console

between the two. Nintendo and SEGA will go down as some of the most popular consoles ever.
