This is the actor who will playing Moana in the Live-action movie.

Should Disney make a live action Moana? 6th grade student Aiden Williamson said, “yes because the Moana movie from the start was really good and popular so why not continue that.” Another reason they should make a live action Moana is because it did so well in the box office. Moana made $248.7 million in the U.S. and Canada, and $442.1 million in other countries, for a worldwide total of $690.8 million. In the opening week Moana made $56,631,401. Moana became a box-office hit, acclaimed by both audiences and critics, eventually garnering several major awards.

Also people love live action. People like live action footage because it can make it easier to deliver a message that is relatable or create empathy and compassion. Another reason is that it shows more detail and is so much more realistic. It is also more actionpacked and interesting. Like in Aladdin getting to see the genie in live action was a lot cooler to get to see him change into different people realistically.

Another reason that they should make a live action Moana is because Dwayne The Rock Johnson will be playing Maui. Dwayne announced on social media he will reprise his role of Maui in a live-action reimagining of the 2016  Disney musical, Moana. Dwayne was actually the voice of Maui in the original Moana. People love Dwayne  as you can see he has 360 Million Followers on Instagram On Tik Tok he has 464.9M Likes. 69.9M Followers and on YouTub he has 6.3M Subscribers. If they make a live action based on how many followers and subscribers he has the movie will probably blow up with all of his fans watching it.

This is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and he will be playing Maui.

This is a scene form the animated Moana movie.

Here are some reasons from some of the students that there should be a live-action Moana  movie. The first one is from a sixth grader Aiden Williamson, “Yes because I would like to see how the story will go on and the graphics they will use.” The second quote is from a seventh grader, Wren Ferguson. “ Yes because it would be very interesting as a live action in the way of the graphics and things.”` So more than just young kids want to see the movie but sixth through eighth graders do too.

As you can see people are excited for the new live-action Moana movie that is coming out soon. Hopefully it will be popular. When the new Moana movies comes out make sure to watch it!
