The Road to State

The Edgewood Marching Band has had a wonderful season so far with a wonderful routine and amazing visuals. They just competed in Bands Of America on Saturday, October 22nd. The Edgewood Marching Band were put in class 1A on saturday and they had an amazing performance and got awarded with first place in their class.


The Marching band was awarded with a significant amount of trophies at Bands Of America. The trophies they were awarded with were the visual effect, general effect, and music effect. The band kid’s parents are very proud of them for winning first place and getting all of the awards. The band kids themselves are proud of how far they have come this season.

On October, Saturday 19th the marching band went to the semi finals. The semi finals were from 11am to around 7pm. they did amazing during the performance. And once again they did amazing with the visuals and routine. I believe that their routine is very good and put together very well. Their visuals are amazing and definitely add to the routine. They had amazing music. It was very clear and written very well. The kids did an amazing job and had a wonderful performance.

During their competition on saturday they did amazing. Their visuals were clear, the music was played well and the routine was very well done. They were awarded with a place in the top ten. Being in the top ten means they will be able to compete in the upcoming competition.

On Saturday, November 5th the band went to state. This was probably the best performance they have had so far. The band had a perfect performance, their music was perfect and so were the visuals. The band got awarded first place at state. State was the last competition of the season.
