Do you want to have a fun time eating food, getting scared, and having fun? Do you need a fun place not far from here to spend a chilly October night? If you answered yes to any of these questions then what you need is the Conner Prarie Headless Horseman Festival.

One thing you can do at the Conner Prarie Headless Horseman Festival is the haunted hayride. This hayride can take place from October 6-30, every Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Hayrides that pass after 8:00 p.m. go through the woods in the dark and guests encounter scary surprises. You don't have to be a certain age to ride, but aged 15 and younger have to be accompanied by an adult.

Another thing you can do at the festival is to watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Marionette Show. It is a puppet show explaining the myth of Sleepy Hollow. It has the Headless Horseman in it because he is thought to be the monster of Sleepy Hollow.

Another thing that you can do there is doing the Haunted Corn Maze. The ticket prices are as follows: Non-member: $5, Member: $4, and Youth under 2: FREE! One of the cool things about it is that people enter to design the maze shape. It is a mind-boggling 22,160-foot maze too!

To get in you must pay 20$ dollars per person if you aren’t a member. If you are a member then it is free to get in. To ride the hayride you have to pay 5$ whether you are a member or not. The hours of the festival are from 6-10 p.m. Festival tickets will also be available to participants enrolled in the Access Pass program.

I hope that this article made you want to g and enjoy all of the things at the Headless Horseman Festival. Whether riding the iconic hayride, enjoying the food, or watching the show and learning about the myth, I hope it is lots of fun if you go.
