If you like to be scared or go to haunted houses, here are some of the best places you should go. One of the scariest places to go in Indiana is “The Barn Of Terror” located in Bloomington Indiana. Most people who have been there have given it 4.5 stars out of 5 reviews.

For every 10 people, 8 of them give 5 stars. It is ranked sixth in Indiana For the best-haunted house. It is a great place for kids or family and friends. On Halloween, they have an event for kids to go Trick-or-Treating. In October every Friday, it’s open from 8 pm to 12 am.

Another haunted house is“ Hall’s Haunted Halls”. It’s rated 4.4 out of 5.  9 out of 10 people give it a 5 out of 5 rating. It is only open on Fridays and Saturdays 7-11 pm. It is a historic Hall schoolhouse not recommended for kids under 10 though.

But they can still go they just have to be accompanied by an adult. It won attraction of the year in 2017 and 2018. It also gives all profits to charity. Most of the things trying to scare you are famous horror movie characters. The characters trying to scare you are Pennywise it, Michael Meyers, Insidious, Scream, Freddy Kruger, Samara, Saw, The Nun, Annabelle, and Leatherface. Most of the characters are in very popular horror movies from the ‘90s, ‘80s, and ’70s. They also have a maze with the characters trying to scare you. I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids under 7.

If you want a place that isn’t as scary as the first two, this is perfect for just having a good time with your friends and younger kids.  At The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, they are hosting a haunted house in Indianapolis 3000 N Meridian St. from Oct. 9th-Oct 31st. Open on Wednesday, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and 3:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Noon-5pm Halloween Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. They have different activities like breakfast and a seek-and-find and much more where you have to go to different rooms and Each room also features a Halloween-related fun fact to ask your child. A lot of people recommend this for kids who aren't old enough for scarier haunted houses.
