Do you like spooky stories? Well, we have some teachers and students around the building; sharing their spooky incident!

Teachers:

Mrs. Jones' Spooky Story! 🎃

When Mrs. Jones was about 7 or 8 years old, on Halloween day. Her grandmother was putting the last stitches into her cat costume she had made for her. She was so excited to wear it. She woke up and stepped out of her bed immediately. She felt a tightening around her ankle. Something was grabbing onto her ankle. She hit it with her hand with a full fist and she was able to get away. Mrs. Jones thought for certain it was her dad playing a prank on her. Mrs. Jones even at one point believed it to be her dog although her dog doesn't have hands like that. She ran to the dining room where her grandmother was putting the finishing touches on her Halloween costume, her mother was in their kitchen cooking breakfast. On a rare occasion, they had a fire roaring in their fireplace between the dining and living room. The mood was set for a haunting. Mrs. Jones yelled to her mom “where is dad?” still believing that it was her dad playing a prank on her and then looked out of the dining room doors which were French covered with sheer curtains and saw her father cleaning the pool of the newly fallen leaves. She began in her head ruling out who it could not have been, could not have been the dog, it couldn't have been her dad, her mom didn't have it in her, and her grandmother was busy with the costume. Mrs. Jones has asked her father about this here in the years since thinking he could have jumped out of my window and ran around to the pool area  and after decades she thought surely this man would come clean. But when every conversation on the subject comes up he looks at her confused and she honestly believes he has no idea what she’s talking about. Her mother does not even recall the incident. It is Mrs. Jones' closest encounter with what she would consider haunting.

Students:

Mikaela’s Scary Story 🎃

Mikaela was at her house, she got up to get some water, but she saw an old man mannequin that had a baseball cap on Mikaela went back to her room because she didn’t want to be attacked by this mannequin figure, she didn’t get the water. Mikaela woke up in the middle of the night to go get water again. She stumbled into a crying mannequin with very long arms and very long legs, that was very skinny, sitting next to her laundry room. Mikaela decided to not get water and went back to the room again. Mikaela said, “My mom saw the mannequin figure too.”

Brighton’s Creepy Story 🎃

One time at Brighton’s dad's house when he was maybe 7. His brother said he saw a big muddy hand slam down on the front door window at night and he said that he had no clue where it went in the morning. Of course this made 7 yr old Brighton scared and when night came around he swore he saw a face by the front door window. He had no clue what it was, but he thinks it was his brother trying to scare him but Brighton still doesn't know.
