The San Antonio Spurs

In the regular season, the Spurs went 62-20 which got them the 2nd seed in the West behind the OKC Thunder. The most picks in ESPN Fantasy NBA playoff challenge Is the Thunder in first, and the Spurs right behind them. The Spurs have a lot of amazing players. Obviously players like Wemby, Steph Castle, and D’Aaron Fox. But, the best thing about the Spurs is that they have great depth. This means that even if their best players are struggling or possibly injured, the great team players can hold off until their great players are good again. But, every team has those kinds of players, so why are the Spurs so much better than those other teams? They are because their team players are the best team players and they have more than those other teams.

The Spurs have a lot of great qualities, but the best one is that they are a very selfless team. Wemby said once, "I've turned down shots I can make with my eyes closed. But that was to get one of my teammates a shot he could make in his sleep". When your own leader says how selfless your team is, then that is a really good thing . It’s a good thing because usually the best player on the team is just going to talk about how good they are and not the team.
