You're probably asking yourself how I got to make this. Well, it wasn't easy to come up with; let's start from the beginning. My original thought process was to take my tripod, camera and phone to Miami to take pictures of the Skyscrapers through the reflection of my phone. Everything was going great, I had everything I needed to start shooting; all I needed was a good forecast. The week before I was planning to leave, disaster struck and there was a massive Pandemic going around called the Corona Virus. Around this time my head was going in circles trying to think of something, anything that I could think of to save me from this tragedy. Miami was out of the picture, I was stuck at home sketching out new ideas on what to do since my previous idea required a large-scale building. I had to think small and I was running out of time, my only choice was to use what I have around me. So, I started to walk around my house and even on top to see if something would come to me. I was out in my yard holding my camera and I saw these waxy yellow tree flowers blossoming right in front of me and I knew at that moment, I had to capture it. This wasn't going to be easy, I had to find the right angle and lighting to make sure everything fit into place. I first wrapped a mirror onto one of the tree branches and then placed another mirror on the tripod in the far right corner to make sure I could get 360 degree vision of the flower. I made this piece because I wanted to fully capture the beauty of this flower, every angle and I diddm't want to miss one second of it. This tree is going to make this flower grow and grow to provide oxygen for all living things. All I got to say is, I'm glad I got to share this story with you guys and how I turned a disaster into something truly spectacular!
Best day of my life, yet bad hair day??
When I first came to Dreyfoos, I thought I was going to be the odd one out and never thought I was going to make any friends. I was completely wrong, you guys were so open and nice to me and i'm so grateful that I got to be and talk to you guys. Even through my rough days, you guys were always there to cheer me up and push me to be better. Shoutout to Victoria Shehan, Kwame Ratliff, Katya Dieffenbach and Leedia Valler for always being there for me and making every day the best day. Anyways Love you all and thanks for the best 4 years ever!

Hello 2021 students,
First, I want to congratulate you on making it through your 4 years at Dreyfoos and that you should be proud of yourself. As you know, my Senior year was cut a bit short so I couldn't do all the thing that I wanted to like going to grad bash, going to art shows or hanging out with my friends more. Senior year should be your best year, you can have fun, got to more parties or even go crazy as long as you keep those grades up. Im sure you'll be worried on what college your gonna go to or if your resume is good enough
My biggest piece of advice for your senior year is to not let the colleges get to you too much and to live everyday to the fullest without hesitation. A lot of colleges now are like salesman, they pitch you what you want to hear but not what they don't. So, make sure you do your research so you know what college is right for you. Lastly, again I want to congratulate you on making it through your 4 years at Dreyfoos and wish you great success in the future!
