It's me! Sending lots of love!
Hello class of 2020!
I have known you all for at least the past 3 years of my life, but a lot of you I've known for even longer. There are so many of my peers who I never got a chance to talk to outside of maybe class reasons. Despite this just know that each and every one of you have affected my high school career. You all have my utmost respect and seeing your growth as an artist throughout the years has inspired me more than anything else. Thank you for your kindness and your love. I don't know what I would have done without seeing you guys everyday. Even to those who I have lost, or to those I have never gained close friendship with, just know that I love you and I wish the best for all of you in these upcoming years and the rest of your lives.
And to my art teachers, thank you so much. You guys have been there for me in some of my darkest moments and have always motivated me to keep moving forward. Thank you Mrs. G, thank you Miss Jahn, and thank you Miss Van Reeth for everything you have done and continue to do.
Again, I love you all so very much and would not be the person I am today without you.
Much Love,
Lee Tew
After this year I will be attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA!
My wonderful cat Eve who has gotten me through some of my toughest days.
Loren and I at the halloween dance! We dressed as Audrey and Seymour (plus Audrey II) from Little Shop of Horrors.
Nicole and I out ice skating!
From the New York Trip! I missed snow so much
At Disney with my lovely partner Loren back in February! One of my favorite moments this year.
Me in my silly little style! I want swirly eyes in real life.
My brother Travis and I during my Freshman Year... Yeah, I've definitely grown more confident since then.
Hello dear class of 2021!
Let me start off by saying I am already so proud of the work you have done. Whenever I see Junior's works during gallery shows or even class it blows me away.
If I were to write this letter earlier in the year I would have said plenty of things about time management or focusing on college. But now, there is something I'd like to make sure you know now.
Do not take your time here for granted. When you come back next year hug your friends as tight as you can. Make some new friends, talk to people you've never talked to before. Tell your teachers how much they have helped you and thank them for all the great work they've done. Take a moment each day on campus and just look around. Sit on Freshman Hill again. Run around the soccer fields. When walking down a hall or stairs alone stop and breath. Treasure your time in high school. Treasure the people that have made it special. The truth is time goes indescribably fast. And the one thing I have learned this past year alone is that your last day seeing everyone and everything will come faster than you will realize.
Lots of love, lots of happiness, and lots of good luck I am sending your way.
Sincerely,
Lee Tew
