Falls-Lenox Primary School Newsletter
May 17, 2024
Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
It has been a great week and our third graders had a wonderful visit to Olmsted Falls Intermediate School this week where they got to learn about the classes and clubs available to them in 4th grade. We are looking forward to welcoming our incoming first graders (current ECC kindergarten class) next Friday when they visit Falls-Lenox. Several classes will be visiting in the morning, and the rest will visit in the afternoon. Kindergarten students will get to take a tour of the school, visit first grade classrooms, hear from Ms. Williams and Mrs. Carey, and go to the playground!
As we near the end of the school year, please note that your child's school fees must be paid in order for your child to attend upcoming field trips. School fees can be paid on our district website www.ofcs.net under "Quick Links"/"Pay School Central". You can also send a check with your child or call the office if you need support with Pay School Central. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Thank you to all of our students who donated this week to the Terrific Kids Fundraiser. It was a huge success, and we are excited to paint the winning designs on the blacktop this summer!
Next week our first graders will be visiting Lake Farm Park on either May 22nd or May 23rd and our third graders will be taking a walking tour field trip of Olmsted Falls where they will learn about the history of our community! Your child's teacher will communicate the specific date your child's class will be attending the field trip! Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions about upcoming field trips.

In collaboration with Officer Swope, the following guidelines will help ensure the safety of our students. We appreciate your patience and help!
Children should enter/exit vehicles on the passenger side (directly near the sidewalk) only.
Please pull all the way forward to the white sign that says, "pull up here", so that we can keep the line moving.
Parents and Caregivers should remain in their vehicles.
Please exercise caution and drive slowly when pulling around cars that are loading/unloading to ensure the lane is clear.
